This year's contest was the most complicated contest I've ever hosted.
First of all, it's obvious that TikTok isn't interested in voting anymore. So we've decided to do things differently next year, but trying things differently this year wasn't as easy as I thought.
It was bad enough that one of our chosen judges really spoke down to our contestants. I mean, you can't judge a judge, but when he gives an 8 out of 15 while everyone else gives 13s, you start to wonder about their judging skills.
But that wasn't the worst part. The worst part happened after rounding all the results. Here I am, collecting scores of our last 4 contestants, stating that one has a score of 86 out of 90.
THEN to find out, it was actually a score of 75! Oh the shame! After collecting this data, I started working on the prizes. Now our 2nd place winner was on hold because 1 judge had been stalling the whole week.
When replacing this judge with another, scores somehow changed. I don't know HOW things changed; they just did! One monster, Pumbaa, got a score of 62, So it was no doubt he was last, so the score came between BSG and Tim...
Now, if I were to speak the details, you'd think like everyone else and say BSG (Buff Spider Guy)
is the winner, BUT surprisingly he had been outranked by Tim by 2 points...
That's when things went wrong... Turns out the score 86; that was really a 75 got outranked by 1 point. So, get this. Our supposed 1st place winner is actually our 2nd place winner, and our 2nd place winner is actually our first place winner!
The Christmas card had already been set and ready; the birthday cards, were set and ready. And what else? ANOTHER 2nd PLACE WINNER!😮
What are we to do with the little time we have? OH NO! And the website hasn't even been crafted for the month! ... Well Happy Halloween!
