The Answer to Your Question

Saturday I told you about why I'm not too concerned about editing. You might disagree with my choices, If you do, then understand you haven't left a comment post, so I assume I'm correct!
Now the question I left you with earlier is why am I going after adults when Shiver and Fears is for young readers? Here's your answer:
Who buys books online? Who handles mostly all the money? How many kids themselves have a social media account? Now, you might have an answer I can't disagree with, but once again, no comment means I'm correct.
The answer is mostly parents. Parents spent time shopping online and on social media, parents have hold of all the money (given the choice and give some to their child) So even if I can convince 5 kids to buy a Shiver and Fears book, they wouldn't be able to without a request to their guardian.
There's also another reason too, I grew up reading Goosebumps, it was my choice in reading for years. Now that I'm an adult I try to reach out to other adults my age who have a big chance of loving goosebumps as well. Because if they love Goosebumps, Shiver and Fears might interest them as well. Although they are the ones who would read and complain about grammar, it's important to understand editing isn't as free as publishing or as simple as social media promotion.
It's important to realize authors do their best and judging more on minor spelling and grammar mistakes than the story itself is very poor judgment to me and anyone else who wants to be a simple writer.
In fact, come back later this month and I'll show you how well a story can be told with minor mistakes!

Event #2 Annual Book Signing

If you missed the book signing then boo hoo for you! There were a load of guests at Duffner Park. Most guest got splashed with water others won very cool prizes. Maybe you can get a Shiver and Fears book next month at Best of Books in Edmond. There will be the Shiver and Fears book: The Haunted Cell Phone. This will be the last book signing of the year, so you miss this you're just going to have to get an autograph book the hard way: order it, contact me, and ask for it. Good luck, I got a busy schedule.
Here some news though, I announced it at the book signing. Shiver and Fears is selling two more audio books; The Rules of Horror and The Haunted Cell Phone. That's right, so if you're lucky you can have the book AND have someone read it to you too.
I will also announce next year there won't be another annual book signing. Wow, you are just getting the bad end of the stick! You really shouldn't miss this book signing in Edmond. Don't worry, it's on a Saturday. August 11th at 1. Can't get to Edmond? Well sorry I don't have the answers to everything.
Back to the book signing today, There was an amazing cake shaped like a real crystal ball! Tons of pizza for everyone to eat. And a few friends were made as well. What haven't a mentioned about this party? Oh, people were lined up to get there magic mark in face painting. A.J.'s icon was the most popular, some wanted A.J.'s mark. Wow! Everyone LOVES A.J.! Well why not? He is my son. (In the book)
Newsflash: I've decided to send Magical Times to the other book stores this Christmas! So be on the look out!

What makes Fears fearful? part 2

here's another fearful thought: You are now Salena and all you want is that cute boy to notice you. You're pretty, you're smart, but you're not the center of attention like the other girls. Not I know you're not scared yet, but what if while walking though a forest after shopping for valentine cards you almost get stroked by an arrow? "Ok, that's a little scary, but who was striking arrows?"
You find bow and arrow from a distance and take them home. And then, by mistake you strike your parents! Luckily they don't die, but fall in love! You realize these are cupid's arrows!
Still not scared, huh? Ok, ok so you try using the using the arrows on the boy you like and then everything is great right? WRONG! Cupid's arrows suddenly go missing and cupid demands those arrows back. How do you get something back if you don't know where they are?
Want to know where they are? In the hands of the most popular girl in school! Using all the arrows to be loved by everyone... Scared now?
What if I told you she's having the whole school hunt you down to be in her hands. You're trapped at school, about 1000 kids are looking for you. You're defenseless, you're to be a love zombie for the rest of your life. Are you scared?

I've watched a few horror films, they all have one thing in common: KILL, KILL, KILL!
It's seems one major way of scaring people in movies is to kill them all. You don't think that's true, do you? I mean how would you feel if you were home alone and lights began to flicker and you heard noise in the house, you walk to the front door and a giant hand reaching for you! Or what if a friend started peeling off his skin and became a life skeleton?
If you read a Shiver and Fears book, you may or may not get scared. But it's not just you who needs to get scared it's the kids as well. And being in a non-safe position is scary enough.
