Gosh, I've had a occupied month lately. So not only is Shiver and Fears making its way to Enid this Saturday, but I have been doing a fun activity with a few fans this month. It's new because I never got to do things like this before. It's the Shiver and Fears golden egg hunt. Fans get a chance to win a prize from Shiver and Fears. This includes candy (traditional), Light up pens (new product), ebook codes, (free reading) and of course, the unlucky charm (Sorry no prize for you!)
Kids are going crazy trying to find Shiver and Fears eggs.
We are now going on to round 2 with the egg search. This is because some students got a prank egg. Now although this doesn't mean next round the same kid will find that egg, BUT all the kids want is more. More eggs to find, more prizes to redeem, lucky for them this is going on for the whole month of April.Now about Enid Author Fest. My idea for this event includes a similar activity. Pens will be for sale $4 but anyone will get a chance to choose an egg and check of they win a pen. This will also include a prank egg as well. Shive and Fears book of choice will be Sibling Subtraction. But are only providing a count of 8 books. (Budgets, you know?)
Lastly I want to let you know Shiver and Fears new book cannot be published until an illustrator can be found. Now, don't get me wrong, we have Cameron and Conner, but they have been busy with other line of work. So Shiver and Fears books are set on a private shelf publicly.
