Scary Creepsmas folks!

 Well, once again we end the year with a Shiver and Fears annual event. That's right, it's time to start the Scary Creepsmas give-a-way event.

Every year it's done differently. This year we are starting a fundraiser. Yep, the same fundraiser with the cup, pillow, and books. We have decided to donate a piece of the funding to a school that is in need of a copy machine.

As of right now the school only uses three and one is being VERY difficult to use. It gets jammed, it complains about being empty when it's really not, and sometimes shuts down for awkward reasons! It needs to be replaced.

The goal is to reach nearly $400 dollars. If we reach that goal, a teacher is willing to donate $1000! You think I'm joking, I'm not!

We have a variety of items for you to choose from. Additionally, we are planning to offer a discount on stickers that you can pay for using the PayPal code found on our monthly news website. 

Furthermore, we are giving away audio books daily on Instagram. Each day, an Insta story will be posted containing a special code and link. If you are the first to use this code on the link, the book is yours! 

We understand that our giveaways are limited this year, but we are working on something bigger for the future. We hope that everything will work out in the end.

You Want Me To Explain?

You may have missed the fact that you can purchase the self-published version of Attack of the Headless Robot. If you have already bought it, you might be wondering how it's different from the Writer's Republic version. Or maybe you didn't notice it at all and are curious about what I'm talking about.

The truth is that working with Writer's Republic was a time-consuming and challenging process. At one point, I wasn't even sure if the book was going to be published at all. It's frustrating to think that I spent two months preparing a book that might not see the light of day. Everyone, including you, was eagerly waiting for this book to be published, but I had to hold back because of various problems that Writer's Republic was facing.

In the end, I decided to publish the book the same way I did with all Shiver and Fears books. A day or two after the self-publishing, I received an email stating that the book was on its way. I couldn't believe it when I received the book in the mail, and kids were already trying to snatch it out of my hand! They were so eager to read it that they were even bending it. That's when I knew the self-published version had to come out, and the new book hadn't even reached the shelf yet.

Shiver and Fears has been published

 If you're reading this, that might mean the title grabbed your attention. Because if you are reading this, it means that the title has confused you. As you may already know, Shiver and Fears books have been published. However, what sets this book apart from the others?

Unlike the previous Shiver and Fears books, this one is not self-published. The latest addition to the series has been published by a company called Writer's Republic! This is the first book that has gone through the publishing process with an actual publisher.

I must confess that this may not be a long-term commitment for Shiver and Fears. The reason for this collaboration is to explore the kind of assistance that Writer's Republic can provide. Although they seem to offer a lot, it takes a lot to work with them.

So, what does this mean? This book may be the only one that Writer's Republic is involved with, and there is a possibility that I'll be looking for other options in the future. By now you should know Shiver and Fears books are published. So, what makes this book so different?

This Shiver and Fears book isn't self-published. That's right, the most recent book of the Shiver and Fears series is published by a company called Writer's Republic! This is the first book to go through the publishing process in the hands of an actual publisher.

Now, I will confess that this may not become a fully committed thing for Shiver and Fears. This all happened to see what kind of help Writer's Republic can provide. Although they seem to provide a lot, it takes a lot to work with them.

So what does this mean? This might be the one and only book Writer's Republic can get their hands on. And chances are I'll be taking it elsewhere. 

The book has only been available for two days, so its progress is yet to be seen. However, the self-published version can be purchased on Amazon. The next story will reveal more information, which will be shared in the upcoming blog post on Wednesday. Stay tuned!

 Shiver and Fears has sold over 100 items to people. Not just books. We have sold pencils, pens, pillows, pins... No we don't just sell things that start with 'P'. we also sell shirts and stuff like that, but the most important thing of all is we have cups!
